The annual Mumbrella Commscon Awards were hosted last night at the stunning Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney, and what an evening it was! After a full day of the Commscon Conference, where guests heard from the likes of industry leaders Faris Yakob and One Green Bean’s Kat Thomas, the sold-out awards night opened to a spectacular 400 guests, and finalists hoping to take home a win. This year, a record 300 competitor entries were received and we were honoured to be named a finalist in the Launch or Relaunch Campaign of the Year Award Category.
The evening kicked off with drinks and frivolity in the foyer before moving into the Grand Ballroom for a delightful three course meal. The audience was kept thoroughly entertained throughout the night by hilarious MC and comedian Tim ‘Rosso’ Ross, letting their hair down at the end of the night with a spot of dancing (or some might say team bonding!) courtesy of Sydney band ‘The Groove Academy’.
Although Agent99 didn’t take home a win, we were so thrilled to be a finalist and truly feel privileged to have witnessed and be amongst the best and most creative agencies in Australia, whose ideas and incredible campaigns were well celebrated last night. Congratulations to all of the winners, and thank you to Mumbrella for another brilliant evening.
