Online Retailer is an eCommerce event that highlights disruptive, innovative retail models and the technologies that support this. Their two-day conference and exhibition unites a community of over 30,000 ecommerce, digital, marketing and retail leaders over the past 10 years.
For the past three years, Agent99 was tasked with driving exhibition pre-registrations and promoting the event to increase the number of retailers who attended.

Agent99 employed a number of strategic tactics to generate top tier media coverage and increase brand awareness for Online Retailer.
Agent99 developed a series of press releases including the launch media release detailing the event and highlighting specific solution providers and a release that announced the ORIA’s finalists and winners.
As AI was a major trend during the event, the campaign put an emphasis on this theme to support an objective focus on new and innovative solutions.
Agent99 secured media interviews with event organiser, Alice Kuepper, to discuss the upcoming event. They also compiled a series of relevant interview angles which were offered to media.
Key speakers of the event were leveraged throughout the campaign and were offered for exclusive interviews to promote the star power of the event.
Agent99 invited media to attend and cover Online Retailer including online, print and broadcast media.

Over the length of the campaign 129 pieces of unique coverage was secured, where the KPI was 100 pieces.
The overall audience reach was 9.4 million, against a KPI of minimum 6.6 million.
Agent99 exceeded client expectations as they secured coverage in the likes of Channel 10, Channel 7, Channel 9, The Today Show, Daily Mail, ABC and key trade publications including Power Retail, Inside Retail and Internet Retailing.
