Agent99 was engaged by OMNI International AI Film Festival to support the second iteration of the Festival by building awareness, generating media coverage, and driving attendance and ticket sales during the project period.
The campaign was also designed to help position OMNI as a thought leader at the intersection of AI and entertainment, and to contribute to its long-term goal of becoming a globally recognised film festival.
o raise awareness and buzz around the AI Film Festival, Agent99 rolled out an intensive two-month publicity campaign to engage media and consumers. Through tailored media pitching and outreach, Agent99 brought international and Australian attention to OMNI as both a cultural leader in AI cinema, and a thought leader in AI ethics within the arts.
This was achieved through leveraging the talent and credibility of those leading the charge in the industry’s evolution, including filmmakers George Miller, Yan Chen and Johnathan Zawada, to build strong discussions about the value of AI in cinema.
National and international media placements were secured in the campaign period.
Viewers were reached globally, due to features in credible publications like The Guardian, Hollywood’s Variety, Sydney Morning Herald/The Age and Today Show.
Of the coverage was in mainstream arts/film or news publications, taking OMNI AI’s presence beyond niche entertainment publications.
Following a successful campaign, the next OMNI AI screening was a sellout at Dendy Cinema in Newtown, with 300 attendees, marking OMNI AI’s largest screening to date.
