Agent99 is a growing, award-winning, and smart Surry Hills based PR and Communications Agency. We work in two specialty areas; the Food, Beverage, Entertainment and Lifestyle consumer space working with world class global brands such as Monopoly, Glenfiddich Whisky, and Fjallraven, and a second area which sees us working with business thought leaders and authors, building their brand, such as BBC World News, Futurist Anders Sorman-Nillson and Wiley Publishing.
Agent99 creates campaigns that integrate PR, Social and Digital, and we are looking to take our social and content marketing expertise to the next level.  This has opened up an exciting role for a Social & Content Specialist to join our team. 
As our Social and Content Specialist, your role will be two-fold:
  1. To market the agency and our clients through in-bound marketing techniques and social channels to generate leads
  2. You will work alongside and assist our PR team across an exciting portfolio of top tier brands to deliver our award-winning integrated campaigns
Candidates must have proven experience within the industry as well as excellent relationships with influencers and outstanding content creation skills. The role requires the applicant to be social obsessed, able to thrive in a fast-paced creative environment and is a confident self-starter who can advise and lead clients and in-house campaigns. The Social and Content Specialist is responsible for managing all social client programs, implementing strategy, and is capable of spearheading projects.
The successful applicant must be creative and agile, have agency experience and be able to have a proven track record for producing quality social content and assisting in design elements within the agency too. This is a very special and unique opportunity to work alongside the Founder and Director to build this offering and a strong team to suit.

Experience, Qualifications
and Attributes

  • At least 3-4 years agency experience with a track record in social media management, content creation, lead generation, in-bound marketing techniques, and influencer relations (paid/contra).  Please note: we will also consider journalists who have conducted similar activities within their online editorial role
  • Demonstrated ability to grow social media communities
  • Relevant experience in the social space across all major platforms is essential
  • Digital and social analytics experience
  • Photographic skills required
  • Experience with scheduling programs/design applications
  • Excellent time management essential
  • General graphic design skills
  • Strong writing skills
  • Ideally a degree in Communications/Journalism/Business/Marketing or similar

PR Account Executive
to Account Manager

Due to recent growth, we are seeking a full time Account Executive to Account Manager or “Agent” to join our growing team. You will report directly into the Agency Director, whilst offering support to other team members, as well as executing day to day activities across key clients.

Experience, Qualifications
and Attributes

  • Min 1-3 years PR agency experience (internships not included)
  • We will consider applicants from in-house Comms roles
  • We will also consider applications from journalists wanting to make a career switch
  • University or similar qualifications in PR/Comms/Marketing/Journalism
  • Experience in the spheres of Alcohol, Food, Lifestyle, Thought Leadership, B2B will be advantageous
  • Experience working in a fast paced, results orientated environment
  • Strategic and creative thinker that’s able to plan ahead
  • Media relations experience with a proven track record for securing results and quality media coverage
  • Ability to drive accounts independently whilst still working as part of a team
  • Some experience in organising and managing media related events/launches
  • Keen interest and experience in leading and executing social media integrated campaigns
  • Highly motivated and loves to hit the ground running
  • Excellent organisational, communication and computer skills
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to draft PR plans, media materials/reports
  • Solid knowledge of Australian media with contacts across broadcast, print, online/influencers
  • Candidate should be Sydney based
