Due to recent growth, we are seeking a full-time Account Executive to Account Manager or “Agent” to join our growing team. You will report directly into the Agency Director, whilst offering support to other team members, as well as executing day-to-day activities across key clients.

Experience, Qualifications and Attributes

• Min 1-3 years PR agency experience (internships not included)
• We will consider applicants from in-house Comms roles
• We will also consider applications from journalists wanting to make a career switch
• University or similar qualifications in PR/Comms/Marketing/Journalism
• Experience in the spheres of Alcohol, Food, Lifestyle, Thought Leadership, and B2B will be advantageous
• Experience working in a fast-paced, results-orientated environment
• Strategic and creative thinker that’s able to plan ahead
• Media relations experience with a proven track record for securing results and quality media coverage
• Ability to drive accounts independently whilst still working as part of a team
• Some experience in organising and managing media-related events/launches
• Keen interest and experience in leading and executing social media-integrated campaigns
• Highly motivated and loves to hit the ground running
• Excellent organisational, communication and computer skills
• Strong writing skills with the ability to draft PR plans, media materials/reports
• Solid knowledge of Australian media with contacts across broadcast, print, online/influencers

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):

• Maintaining media lists and databases
• Researching and writing media alerts and press releases to tight deadlines
• Managing and updating coverage logs with media clippings
• Report compilation
• Assistance in managing social media platforms, including weekly content
• Contributing to a weekly blog post hosted on Agent99’s website
• Answering phones
• General office duties and supporting the team

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Understanding of the Australian media landscape
• High level of written skills with a strong attention to detail
• Outstanding time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and to deadlines with initiative and self-motivation
• Problem-solving skills

Location: Sydney, Surry Hills

Requirement: at least two days consecutively (preferable)

Internship dates: 3 month minimum

Internship times: 9am-5.30pm

We are currently seeking a full-time experienced highly dynamic PR Account Director/Senior Account Director to lead and support a team of upcoming PR guns, helping set priorities and mentoring to provide the utmost level of client service and results. You will report directly in to the Agency Director, be involved in new business development and pitches, and manage/execute on a number of key clients.

Experience/Qualifications

• MUST have min 5-7 years PR agency experience and tertiary qualifications in PR/Comms/Marketing/Journalism
• Experience in corporate/B2B PR preferred, and lifestyle/consumer favourable
• Be adept at managing sophisticated clients across varied sectors be it in a B2B or B2C
• Experience working in a fast-paced, results-orientated environment
• Strategic and creative thinker that’s able to plan, who views themselves as a natural leader
• Excellent public speaking skills, be it storytelling, verbal and written communication skills. This includes the ability to bring an idea to life and confidently pitch that idea to clients, run meetings and write strategies
• Solid knowledge of Australian media with excellent contacts across top-tier broadcast, print, online/influencers
• Media relations/storytelling experience with a proven track record for securing results and quality earned media coverage
• Ability to drive accounts independently whilst still working as part of a team
• Experience in organising and managing events/launches
• Keen interest and experience in leading integrated PR/social media campaigns
• Passionate and curious approach to innovative and non-traditional communications
• Loves to mentor and manage a team
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Strong ability to draft PR plans, media materials/reports
