A little bit about myself…

I am definitely my happiest taking friends with me to explore new places whether on a beach trip down the coast, up to the snow or visiting a city for the first time.

What did you want to be growing up?

My childhood was spent getting up close and personal with animals all over the world with David Attenborough and Steve Irwin. I desperately wanted to go along for the ride with them but hid behind the couch when the realities of nature were too gruesome – so maybe the wildlife filmmaker career wasn’t for me.

When I wasn’t in front of the TV with my documentaries, I was outside replicating the impressive exploits of my heroes on the football and cricket field. I dreamed of scoring the winning goal in front of thousands of people (which is something that still hasn’t worn off with age!).

How did you end up at Agent 99?

I love getting to grips with how people see the world and understanding what makes someone passionate about an idea or story. I enjoy thinking about the big picture through how we communicate every day and so enrolling in PR & Advertising and International Studies was a natural choice. After (too much?) time in the classroom, I’ve been desperate to take my learning into the real world and Agent 99’s creative and personal approach to PR really appealed to me.

Describe yourself in five words:

There’s no better way to express yourself than with the classic acrostic right?

Passionate

Energetic

Thrill-seeking

Enthusiastic

Reflective

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

It’s a treat to be able to contribute to such a diverse range of campaigns with unique clients. Seeing different moving parts coalesce into something really creative that will go beyond expectations is super rewarding. On a personal level, getting an understanding of how the broader ideas about Media and PR translate from the classroom to the Agent99 drawing board has given me the confidence that this is the industry for me.
